Urban Decay Heat Palette
You would be hard-pressed to find a girl that has yet to own an Urban Decay palette. I still have the original, it’s the type you always find your way back to. When Urban Decay announced a palette dedicated to red tones I knew I had to have it. I have grown to love using reds and rustic browns but have never really seen a palette that has had more than just one or two included. I love this new palette and have been using it every day, although I will still use others just to mix in some taupes and browns depending on my mood.
Nar concealer has been my favourite for years. I was really excited to try their new pot version and have been really liking it. It has a higher coverage than the original but it’s harder to apply without the wand. I think the original is better for everyday use but if you want a higher coverage to try the pot.
Giorgio Armani Foundation
Again, another makeup product I have loved for years, but in a new formula. The fabric powder version has higher coverage and is more matte compared to the Luminous Silk. I really love the higher coverage but do miss the glowy look of the original. I think I would ideally mix the two together.
My favorite lip combo right now is Mac lipstick in Honey Love with Just Superb Lipgloss on top for a touch of loss for plumper lips.
My mum is a big L’occatine fan and we have always had the hand creams in our house. I was excited to try some products from their new range and WOW was I impressed by the moisturizer. I don’t know how to explain it, but its the softest, most creamy moisturizer I have ever tried and I have tried ALOT. I will definitely be repurchasing and would recommend trying it for yourself in a store if you get a chance. Thank you L’occatine for sending my these luxurious products, including the perfume which I have been wearing every day, it has a perfect fall scent!*
Last month I attended an event with Paula’s Choice Skincare and got to take home a very generous bag of products. All of the products have been designed to include ingredients that will make skin look younger and appear more radiant, help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, or can lessen or eliminate acne. Learn more about the brand and see the full product range HERE.
I can’t fault any of the products but the ones I have been loving the most are*:

It’s been a while since I have tried a new hair tool! Over the course of many years, I have tried and disliked many hair curlers, diffusers, rollers and round brush dryers. I love my GHD and have liked the hair curler I have been using the last year or two, but it never gave me the type of curls I was really looking for. I was really excited to receive the HerStyler curler set because it includes all sorts of curler sizes and widths that can be easily interchanged. The largest size gives that highly sought-after Victoria Secret runway curl that everyone goes mad for. Other styles give a beachy wave, and then various tighter curls. I’m so excited to have found this little gem after years of trying curlers that I was never fully happy with. They also sent me a handy holder for any hot hair tools to save the floors from burning, and a few different hair products to help perfect the curls. The hair oil feels so good and leaves my hair so soft and shiny and the hairspray keeps the curls in place all day and all night, more so than other hairsprays I have tried. Thank you so much HerStyler!

“How to Stop Worrying about What You Should Do So You Can Finish What You Need to Do and Start Doing What You Want to Do”.
I’ve been really enjoying dipping in and out of the book the last few weeks. The author’s casual and open style mixed with common sense and life lessons really speak to me and it’s definitely a book I’ll read over and over. It covers:
- The Power of Negative Thinking
- Three simple tools for getting your sh*t together
- How to spend less and save more
- Ways to manage anxiety, avoid avoidance, and conquer your fear of failure
Clothes, Shoes & Accessories
I have never suffered a shortage of jeans until I moved to New York and made the mistake of washing them in the laundromat. Almost every pair I had was faded and out of shape. Once the temperatures began to drop again recently, I realized I needed to buy all new pairs and the first place I looked was Levis. Obviously, Levis is a cult classic and I know I had a few pairs growing up but I have fallen back in love with the hype and bought myself several new pairs. Black, Demin, distressed, boyfriend style and skinny. I think they can look really flattering when you fit the perfect fit.
& Other Stories Boots
I buy at least one pair of new black boots every year, and this time decided on these classic Chelsea style boots from & Other Stories. They have a really great section of boots at the moment and it took me awhile to decide on just one pair. In the end, I picked a classic style that will go with every outfit and comfortable enough for running around Manhattan.
A recent purchase while I was Italy, these timeless sunglasses have been on my wishlist for a long time. They are definitely the most expensive sunglasses I have purchased but the feel of quality and durability matches the price tag.
Runa tea is a delicious drink with the energy of a sports drink without the overdose of sugar or a caffeine crash. I was really excited when they sent me a section to try and have been loving them as a midday pick me up in work, instead of coffee.*
My 2017 weakness. It tastes like its full of sugar and I’m scared to check how unhealthy it is but I am absolutely obsessed! Especially with the Trader Joes version. You need to try it!
Iced coffee has become my biggest weakness. I way prefer a good cold brew over a regular coffee any day, to the point where I now have it in my morning smoothies every day which can be done easily with an iced coffee concentrate like my favorite from Trader Joes. I have written a full blog post on my favorite ways to drink coffee and my special cold brew morning smoothie which you can view HERE.
*Some of the products I have mentioned in this post were gifted to me by the brand or a PR agency. I was not paid to review them and have only mentioned products and items I have genuinely enjoyed using.
I hope you enjoyed this roundup of everything I have been loving the last few weeks. Let me know in the comments if we share any of the same favourites!
