It’s becoming a recurring trend for me to be shocked at the start of each month about how fast the last one went by. With such a warm September I had forgotten it was no longer summer. But now that it’s October I am officially ready to cover up and be warm with coats and trousers. For the longest time I have been guilty of rotating a few simple black dresses with black tights like a type of uniform. It eliminates the stress of “what will I wear” each morning but can leave you looking a bit boring. Winter can be dull enough as it is, we don’t need to look dull too. I’ve been purchasing new items for my wardrobe that are versatile, comfortable but most importantly stylish! I’ve touched on this before in a outfit post last month here, which was colourful and definitely not boring.

For this outfit I have used pieces that can be worn many different ways. A black cape coat, white collar shirt and beige trousers. I picked both the cape and trousers up from Lavish Alice during their online sale. Unfortunately they are no longer on the website but Lavish Alice are known for their capes and other wardrobe staples so they have lots of similar items!
The shirt is from Asos, which you can buy here, and they also have lots of other alternatives too.

This Wednesday I will be attending and helping out at the Women’s Inspire Network Event in the City North Hotel & Conference Centre. I absolutely love events like this and I’m so happy to be involved. I’ll be covering the day on my social media account’s but make sure to also follow @WomensInspireIE  if you want to see all the highlights from the day.

I feel like I’ve been slacking on the blog front the last week or two, so I’m excited to be back into the swing of things, with a new daily routine that will mean lots more happening here 😃
